Softball Tour 2007

And we're off! After months of grueling practices, meetings, and preparation, the Softball tour team finally left for Vancouver June 7!!!
Arrived in Vancouver safely, waiting for the vans to come back to pick us up!Here are our trusty bodyguards!
From the get go, tour was jam packed with lots of service activities. Here's Shirley sharing her testimony at one of the convalescent homes we visited.
Had an opportunity to do a softball clinic with the kids at Cornerstone (Vancouver)Academy .

We were able to try something new this year--pay a visit to the Potter's Place Mission to do the Worship and serve lunch.

Final Sunday:
started out with worship on the field.
Each year, the numbers for our service has grown. The first year we started out with 2, and this year, look how its grown! God is definitely doing some awesome things in the community!

In all, we played 9 exhibition games during the week, and 4 during the weekend tournament.
